Srinagar, Oct 25, KNT: The militant attack in Gulmarg’s Botapathri area has claimed its fifth victim, as an injured soldier succumbed to his injuries on Friday afternoon.
The soldier, who was undergoing treatment after the attack, did not survive, official sources said.
The attack, which occurred on Thursday late evening, resulted in the loss of four lives, including two porters and two army soldiers. The security forces promptly launched an intensified search operation to apprehend the attackers.
“The investigation into the attack is going on amid massive search operation, and the authorities are working to identify those responsible,” said an official.

He said two more injured soldiers are still receiving medical treatment. [KNT]
