Budgam, Oct 29, KNT: A man was killed instantly when a moving train struck him in the Mazhom area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The victim whose identity is being ascertained was crossing the railway track when the accident occurred.

Eyewitnesses described the horrific scene, stating that the victim was caught off guard by the advancing train, leaving no time for reaction.

“The train was moving at a considerable speed, and the victim didn’t stand a chance,” said an eyewitness to the news agency Kashmir News Trust.
Police officials confirmed the incident and stated that the body has been recovered and will be handed over to the family for last rites. [KNT]
