Poonch, Jan 30, KNT: A fierce gunfight erupted between the Indian Army and militants along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector after soldiers detected suspicious movement in the area.
According to army officials, troops noticed militant activity near the LoC and immediately opened fire, leading to a heavy exchange of gunfire.
The encounter is going on as soldiers continue their operation to neutralize or track down the militants.
