Fresh Spell of Rain, Snowfall Expected in J&K from Feb 19-20

Srinagar, Feb 19, KNT: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a fresh spell of rain and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir on February 19 and 20.

According to the forecast, higher reaches of Chenab Valley and South Kashmir are likely to receive moderate snowfall ranging from 7 to 12 inches, while North and Central Kashmir may witness 4 to 8 inches of snow.

In the Jammu region, plains could experience light to moderate rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by gusty winds in some areas. Light rain and snow are also expected at scattered places on February 24 and 25.
