Jammu Police Reunites 743 Missing Persons with Families in 2024

Srinagar, Feb 20, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Police have successfully traced and reunited 743 missing individuals with their families across District Jammu in 2024, bringing relief to hundreds of households and reinforcing its commitment to law and order.

According to an official communiqué issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the force utilized advanced technological tools such as CCTV surveillance, digital tracking, and intelligence-based investigations to locate the missing persons. Extensive field searches, coordination with other law enforcement agencies, and active public participation played a vital role in ensuring their safe return.

“Public awareness and cooperation have been key factors in these recoveries. Jammu Police has consistently urged citizens to report missing cases immediately, emphasizing the importance of timely information in accelerating the search process. The department remains committed to strengthening ties with the public to ensure faster resolutions in such cases,” the statement read.
