Tangdhar, Mar 8, KNT: The Shakti Vijay Brigade marked International Women’s Day with a series of events aimed at promoting women’s empowerment and well-being across multiple locations, including the Cultural Development Centre Tithwal, AGS Hajinar, Human Resource Development Centre Tangdhar, and Government Degree College Tangdhar.
A special health camp was organized, where women underwent comprehensive medical check-ups. Medical Officers Maj Varsha and Maj Kaveri conducted an awareness session on health and hygiene, equipping participants with essential knowledge on well-being.
Adding to the occasion, Lt Simran, AAG Legal, delivered an inspiring lecture, motivating students to pursue their ambitions with determination.
In recognition of academic excellence, meritorious students from Degree College Tangdhar and Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kandi were felicitated for their achievements. The acknowledgment aimed to highlight the role of education in women’s empowerment.
The celebrations reflected the spirit of International Women’s Day, fostering awareness, inspiration, and encouragement within the community.
