NIT Srinagar to Resume Offline Classes from June 11, Hostels Reopen on June 9

 

Srinagar, May 12, KNT: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar has announced a phased return to campus activities, with offline classes scheduled to resume from June 11, 2025.

According to a notice issued by the Dean Academic Affairs on Monday, online classes will continue until June 6, following which hostels will reopen on June 9 to accommodate returning students. The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by the Director (in-charge), along with the Dean Students Welfare, Registrar, and Dean Academic Affairs.

The institute has urged all undergraduate and postgraduate students to take note of the dates and plan their return accordingly.
The notification was issued with the approval of the Competent Authority. [KNT]
