Schools to Reopen in Baramulla Except Uri Zone from Tomorrow

 

Srinagar, May 13, KNT: The district administration of Baramulla has announced that all government and private schools across the district shall remain open from tomorrow, May 14. However, as a precautionary measure, schools in specific areas falling under Subdivision Uri will remain closed for the day.

According to the official directive, educational institutions in Zone Uri, Jhulla, Chandanwari, and Boniyar will remain shut on May 14. The decision has been taken in view of prevailing security and administrative considerations, authorities said.

“All Government and Private Schools in District Baramulla shall remain open from tomorrow except Zone Uri, Jhulla, Chandanwari, and Boniyar (Subdivision Uri) which shall remain closed tomorrow on 14.5.2025 as a precautionary measure,” reads the official communication.

The administration has appealed to parents, students, and school authorities in the affected zones to adhere to the advisory, while also assuring that the situation is being monitored closely and further updates will be shared as needed.

Normal academic activities are expected to resume in these zones once the situation stabilizes.
