Northern Command Chief Reviews Operational Readiness of Strike One Corps

Jammu, June 28, KNT: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, on Saturday reviewed the operational readiness of the Mathura-based Strike One Corps, one of the Indian Army’s premier offensive formations.

During his visit, Lt Gen Sharma was briefed on the formation’s integrated training drills, tactical preparedness, and joint operational strategies. The Northern Command, in a statement on social media platform X, said: “Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, visited Strategic Strikers and reviewed the operational preparedness.”

The Army Commander lauded the formation for its high level of synergy, coordination, and mission readiness. He praised the corps for maintaining combat excellence through integrated and sustained training.

Lt Gen Sharma also stressed the importance of dynamic planning and flexible, situation-specific preparedness to counter emerging threats and ensure rapid response capability under all circumstances.
