Indian Army Pays Tribute to Soldier Killed in South Kashmir Road Accident

 

Awantipora, July 16, KNT: The Indian Army on Wednesday paid solemn floral tributes to Rifleman Rouf Gull, who lost his life in a tragic road accident on NH44 near Dangerpora Padgampora area in Awantipora.
The accident claimed three lives, including two siblings, and left two others critically injured. The injured are receiving treatment at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar.

A wreath-laying ceremony was held at the soldier’s native village, Dardegund in Devsar, Kulgam.
The event was jointly organized by the 46 RR and 9 RR units of the Indian Army, with officers, jawans, and local residents in attendance to honour the fallen soldier’s service and sacrifice. [KNT]
