Srinagar, Aug 14, KNT: Burglars struck at a pharmacy shop and a second-hand garment shop at Reck Chowk Batamaloo here during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
Sources said the crime scene was examined by the Forensic Science Laboratory team from Srinagar soon after the incident came to light.
As per initial reports, one suspect has been apprehended in connection with an attempted theft at a nearby J&K Bank ATM. The ATM is located just a stone’s throw from the burgled shops.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is in progress to ascertain the sequence of events and involvement of other suspects.
