The Chief Minister’s gesture has drawn appreciation online, with many hailing it as a symbolic tribute to Gandhian simplicity and self-reliance. He has been actively sharing glimpses of his Gujarat visit, including a morning jog along the Sabarmati Riverfront, which he described earlier as “one of the nicest places” he’s run.

An official from the Tourism Department said that Gujarat outreach is part of a broader strategy to revive domestic footfall to Kashmir, particularly post-Pahalgam incident. [KNT]
