BSF postpones recruitment test in Jammu due to heavy rains

Jammu, Sep 3, KNT: The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced the postponement of its recruitment test in Jammu owing to waterlogging caused by heavy rains in Paloura Camp and nearby areas.

In a statement, BSF Jammu said that due to continuous rainfall, the stadium and tracks at its Paloura Camp were inundated, making it unsuitable to hold the test. “Due to continuous heavy rainfall at BSF Jammu, Paloura Camp and surrounding areas, causing inundation of the stadium and tracks, the recruitment test scheduled on 04 Sept 2025 is postponed to 12 Sept 2025. This is to ensure the convenience, well-being, and safety of participants. Nodal agency and SSC are requested to inform candidates accordingly,” BSF Jammu stated.

Officials said the fresh date has been fixed to ensure smooth conduct of the event and to safeguard the interests of candidates. [KNT]
