

Mumbai, Sep 1, KNT: Green Gold Animation, the studio behind India’s most successful homegrown franchise Chhota Bheem, secured three major honours at the AnimationXpress ANN Awards 2025, held in Mumbai as part of the Animation & More Summit.
The studio won in three marquee categories: Best Animated Full-Length Feature Film for Chhota Bheem: Dholakpur to Hawa Hawaii (produced by Warner Bros. Discovery | Pogo with Green Gold IP), Best Title Song for Chhota Bheem in Samay Chakra (music by Gaurav and Seema Malani), and Best Storyboard Artist for Chhota Startup: Daadi’s Kitchen Episode (crafted by Wackytoon Studio based on Green Gold IP).

The wins, achieved in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery, Pogo, Wackytoon Studio and independent music composers, highlight the studio’s growing emphasis on partnerships and creative diversity. With Chhota Startup, Green Gold is moving beyond mythology-driven content to contemporary, humorous and relatable narratives that reflect India’s entrepreneurial spirit.

Industry watchers note that Green Gold is steadily positioning itself as India’s answer to Disney, with expansion plans in feature films, digital platforms, merchandising, gaming and immersive experiences. The studio has also hinted at a possible IPO by 2028 to fuel its growth.
