Lawyer killed in South Kashmir road accident

 

Anantnag, Sep 4, KNT: A senior advocate lost his life in a road accident on Thursday after two vehicles collided on KP Road in Paibugh Mattan area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Officials said the accident took place when a gas-laden truck (JK03G-1304) collided with a Ford Figo car (JK17-0706), leaving the car driver critically injured. The victim was identified as Advocate Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, 60, son of Abdul Majeed Sofi, a resident of Ashajipora Anantnag.

Sofi was immediately shifted to Government Medical College Anantnag, where doctors declared him brought dead.
