School Picnics in Jammu Cancelled Amid Bad Weather Alert

Jammu, Dec 22, KNT: Authorities in Jammu have cancelled all school picnics that were scheduled from December 22 onward after the Chief Education Officer issued an advisory citing unfavourable weather conditions and safety concerns.

According to an official notice, earlier permissions granted to government and private schools for conducting picnics stand withdrawn with immediate effect. The decision has been taken in view of inclement weather and the need to ensure the well-being of students.

The CEO has directed all heads of institutions across District Jammu to strictly comply with the order. Copies of the directive have also been forwarded to senior officials in the Directorate of School Education for monitoring and implementation.
