KPDCL faces criticism over erratic power supply in Srinagar’s Rajbagh

Srinagar, Jan 3, KNT: Inhabitants of the uptown area of Rajbagh have complained of prolonged and frequent power outages, alleging gross mismanagement by the power supply authorities and calling the situation unprecedented for this time of the year.

Locals said that the electricity supply has remained erratic for the past several days, with frequent and unannounced power cuts severely affecting daily life. They expressed particular resentment over the fact that even metered areas, where consumers regularly pay their electricity bills, are facing extended outages without any explanation.
