New Delhi, Jan 13, KNT: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq on Tuesday visited the residence of the late Pandit Bhushan Bazaz in New Delhi and offered condolences to the bereaved family.
During the visit, the Mirwaiz expressed solidarity with the family and conveyed special condolences to the wife and son of the late Pandit Bhushan Bazaz, Kalhan Bazaz. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the loss.
The Mirwaiz paid rich tribute to Pandit Bhushan Bazaz, remembering him as a principled Kashmiri voice who consistently stood for peace, harmony, and coexistence. He said Bazaz’s life and work reflected a deep commitment to mutual respect and understanding among communities.
The Mirwaiz said such voices have played an important role in promoting dialogue and social cohesion in Kashmir and beyond, and their contribution would be remembered with respect. [KNT]
