BJP  Protests in Jammu, Targets Congress Over AI Summit Controversy

Jammu, Feb 23, KNT: Workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha staged a protest in Jammu on Monday against the Congress party over remarks and demonstrations linked to a recent global Artificial Intelligence summit, alleging that the episode had harmed India’s international image.

The protesters gathered in the city, raising slogans against the Congress leadership and specifically targeting the Youth Congress for staging what they described as an inappropriate demonstration at the AI summit venue. BJP Mahila Morcha leaders accused the opposition of politicizing an international platform and undermining the country’s reputation before a global audience.

During the protest, demonstrators burnt an effigy of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as a mark of condemnation. The women leaders termed the alleged shirtless protest by Youth Congress members at the summit as irresponsible and said such actions were detrimental to India’s standing at a time when the country is positioning itself as a global technology leader.
