Pulwama, Feb 24, KNT: The Office of the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Pulwama has ordered suspension of car parking inside the hospital premises in view of ongoing construction works and renovation of the main entry gate.
As per the official order issued on February 24, 2026, parking inside the hospital campus shall remain suspended with immediate effect. However, vehicles belonging to hospital staff, sick patients and their attendants will be permitted entry and must park only at designated demarcated areas.
The order states that any vehicle parked inside the hospital premises outside the specified eligible categories will be treated as illegal. In such cases, the concerned authorities and Municipal Committee Pulwama will be informed for immediate seizure of the vehicles.
The directive has been issued citing safety and operational concerns due to multiple construction activities underway within the hospital compound.

The order has been circulated to the District Development Commissioner Pulwama, Director Health Services Kashmir, Senior Superintendent of Police Pulwama, Chief Medical Officer Pulwama and Executive Officer of Municipal Committee Pulwama for information. [KNT]
