Baramulla, Feb 1, KNT: Water supply has been restored in Watoo, Asnoor, Tangmarg and Manzgam areas of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after services were disrupted due to heavy snowfall, officials said on Sunday.

Officials said the disruption occurred after the main source line supplying water to these areas got blocked following snowfall, leading to interruption of supply for the inhabitants.

Teams from the concerned department were deployed to the affected sites, and restoration work was taken up on priority to clear the blockage and repair the source line.

After the completion of necessary work, water supply was restored in all the affected areas, officials said, adding that the system is now functioning normally.
