Elvania Energies Appoints Channel Partner in Kashmir to Boost EV Ecosystem


Srinagar, Sept 29, KNT: In a strategic move to expand its footprint in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Elvania Energies 369 Pvt Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr. Tariq Ahmed Chenga, founder of Urban Groove, as its Channel Partner for the region. The collaboration will see the company operate its Company Depot Unit (CDU) from Chanpora Bypass, Srinagar, which will serve as the central hub for Elvania’s operations across the two Union Territories.
Welcoming the partnership, Elvania Energies’ founder, Mr. Aarif Shafi Khanyari, expressed optimism about the growth potential of the initiative. “It is a matter of great pride that we are collaborating with an experienced and renowned entrepreneur like Mr. Tariq Chenga. His strong background as the founder of Urban Groove, a leading name in furniture outlets and hospitality, will add immense value to our operations. We believe that under his leadership, our presence in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will grow exponentially,” he said.
The appointment of the new Channel Partner aligns with Elvania’s broader mission to strengthen its green mobility initiatives through grassroots engagement. The company has already set up two Hyper Local Micro Dealership (HLMD) Units in Srinagar and four in Baramulla, with plans to expand to 40 HLMD Units across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh over the next year. All these units will operate under the CDU at Chanpora Bypass.
Elvania Energies is also preparing for a landmark moment with the planned launch of its flagship electric two-wheeler brand, “ELI-EV,” scheduled for November 2025. The launch will be accompanied by a grand EV Rally and a series of promotional events across the region to raise awareness about sustainable transportation.
