Women’s Strength and Resilience Continue to Inspire Society, Says IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, March 8, KNT: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V.K. Birdhi on Sunday extended greetings to women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, praising their courage, determination and contributions to society.

In a message shared on the social media platform X, the IGP said women continue to inspire society through their strength and resilience across various spheres of life.

Birdhi reaffirmed that Jammu and Kashmir Police remains firmly committed to ensuring the safety, dignity and empowerment of women across the region.

He said the police force will continue to work towards creating a secure environment where women can live and contribute to society without fear.
