Manoj Sinha Launches 100-Day Anti-Drug Campaign in J&K, Focus on Crackdown, Public Participation

Jammu, April 11, KNT: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday launched a 100-day anti-drug campaign across Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at intensifying action against narcotics networks and strengthening public participation in curbing drug abuse.

The campaign, titled “Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan,” focuses on coordinated enforcement measures, awareness initiatives, and community engagement to address the growing concern of drug addiction in the Union Territory.

Officials said the drive will involve multiple agencies working in coordination to identify and dismantle drug supply chains, alongside efforts to sensitize youth and local communities about the risks associated with substance abuse.

The administration has also emphasized the role of public cooperation, urging citizens to report drug-related activities and support awareness campaigns at the grassroots level.
