Mock Drill Conducted at Major Srinagar Examination Centres Ahead of Test

Srinagar, June 20, KNT: A comprehensive mock drill was conducted on Saturday at major examination centres falling under Kothibagh Sub-Division to assess preparedness and ensure the smooth conduct of an examination scheduled for Sunday.

The exercise was carried out under the supervision of police and civil authorities in coordination with Dr. Seema Naaz, Principal of B.Ed College Srinagar.

The mock drill covered five major examination centres, including S.P. Higher Secondary School M.A. Road, S.P. College M.A. Road, Government Women’s College M.A. Road, College of Education (Cluster University) M.A. Road and Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh.

The exercise was aimed at evaluating security arrangements, access control mechanisms, seating plans and emergency response preparedness ahead of the examination.

Officials said all logistical and security-related arrangements were reviewed during the drill and were found to be satisfactory.

DySP Kothibagh, accompanied by SHO Kothibagh, personally inspected the arrangements and assessed the readiness of the examination centres to ensure hassle-free conduct of the test.

Authorities said the mock exercise was part of a broader effort to maintain order, security and efficient coordination among various agencies involved in the examination process. [KNT]
