Er. Danish Reshi Appointed General Secretary (Organisation) of J&K Muslim Personal Law Board

Srinagar, Sep 7: In a significant organisational move aimed at further strengthening and streamlining the functioning of the Muslim Personal Law Board, Jammu & Kashmir, Er. Danish Reshi, Advisor to the Grand Mufti, Jammu & Kashmir, has been appointed as General Secretary (Organisation) of the Board with immediate effect.

The appointment has been proposed and approved by Syed Mohammad Aslam Andrabi. Er. Danish Reshi will hold the new responsibility in addition to his existing roles and responsibilities.

According to the communiqué issued by Mufti Nasir Ul Islam, Chairman, Muslim Personal Law Board, J&K, the newly appointed General Secretary (Organisation) will oversee the organisational affairs of the Board and work towards strengthening its organisational structure.

He will also be responsible for coordination at district and provincial levels, besides further streamlining and facilitating the organisational activities of the Board.

The Board expressed confidence that the appointment will contribute towards making its organisational structure more effective and improving coordination among its various units across Jammu & Kashmir.
