Two Pedestrians from Same Village Killed in Kishtwar Road Accident

 

Jammu, Oct 29, KNT: Two pedestrians from the same village died after being hit by a loaded tipper in the Drabshala area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, the police said.

A police official told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the driver of the loaded tipper (JK17-2841) lost control and struck two pedestrians from the same village, resulting in their injuries.

The duo identified as Bilal Mustafa and Ishrat Hanief, both residents of Changa Balesa village were rushed to Community Health Centre Thatri, where they succumbed to their injuries.

“We have seized the tipper, arrested the driver, and registered a case under relevant sections of law,” the police official said. [KNT]
