Pre-Dawn Blaze in Baramulla Leaves Disabled Man Dead

Baramulla, Feb 21, KNT: A 35-year-old disabled man lost his life due to suffocation after a devastating fire broke out in a double-story residential house in Binnar Janbazpora village of North Kashmir’s Baramulla, during the pre-dawn hours of Friday.

Local sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that the victim, identified as Zubair Siraj, son of Muhammad Siraj, was unable to escape the thick smoke before firefighters arrived at the scene.

The firefighters managed to extinguish the flames and later recovered his body from the charred remains of the house.
