‘Don’t Need Lessons from Mehbooba Mufti Responsible for Destruction of J&K, Says Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary

Jammu, Mar 4, KNT: In a sharp political offensive, Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Tuesday accused former Chief Minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti of being directly responsible for the revocation of the region’s special status.

“Jammu and Kashmir lost its special status because of her,” Choudhary asserted, alleging that Mehbooba’s political blunders created conditions that led to the abrogation of Article 370. He further blamed her for what he described as the overall decline of the region, holding her accountable for its political and administrative turmoil.

Choudhary dismissed Mehbooba Mufti’s criticisms of the government, stating, “We are answerable to the people who voted us to power. We don’t need lessons from Mehbooba Mufti.”
