Kashmir to Kevadia!”: PM Lauds J&K CM’s Gujarat Engagement


Srinagar, Aug 1, KNT: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended appreciation to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his visit to the Statue of Unity and participation in cultural and recreational activities along the Sabarmati Riverfront during his official tour to Gujarat.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the Prime Minister wrote, “Kashmir to Kevadia! Good to see Shri Omar Abdullah Ji enjoying his run at the Sabarmati Riverfront and visiting the Statue of Unity. His visit to SoU gives an important message of unity and will inspire our fellow Indians to travel to different parts of India.”
During his Gujarat visit, Abdullah visited Sabarmati Ashram, ran along the Sabarmati Riverfront, and even tried spinning cotton on a charkha, a symbolic act paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy.
