BSNL daily wager dies of electric shock in Pattan

A daily-rated worker working in government-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) died after receiving an electric shock while on duty in the Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Police sources said that the incident occurred at BSNL Exchange Pattan.

The worker was shifted to hospital after receiving shock, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Mir (48) son of Wali Muhammad Mir, a resident of Tantray Pora Pattan.

Police in this regard registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
