Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian president Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi has appealed to the government to release Mirwaiz Umar Farooq so that he can perform his religious duties.
Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian in a statement to news agency Kashmir News Trust said that government has put Mirwaiz under house arrest since 2019 and still claims that he is a ‘free man’.
