Cyclist dies in South Kashmir road mishap

A cyclist was killed in a road mishap in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.

Official sources said that a school bus hit a cyclist leaving him injured. The middle-aged victim, identified as Bashir Ahmed Dar was rushed to Government Medical College Anantnag for treatment, however, he succumbed in the hospital.

The accident occurred at Harnag village of Anantnag and the victim was also a resident of the same district from Muniward village.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
