A 4-year-old kid slipped to death in an irrigation canal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday, official sources said.
They said that a kid identified as Uzair Fayaz Denthoo, a resident of Tappar Pattan was walking on the crag of Irrigation Canal at Parray Mohalla Hajin. He lost his balance and fell into the canal.

Locals fished him out and took him to the Hajin hospital in an unconscious condition where doctors declared him brought dead.
After the required formalities, the body was handed over to the family. [KNT]
