In an unfortunate incident, a labourer died while another sustained injuries after a concrete slab fell over them in a government school in Khag area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at Government Boys Middle School Khag.
Eyewitnesses told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that labourers were busy dismantling the bathroom of the school when the slab collapsed and fell over the two men.

They said Mushtaq Ahmed Thokar, a resident of Lohran Khag died on the spot while another labourer identified as Javiad Ahmed Shah has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police and civil officials have rushed to the spot to assess the situation. [KNT]
