Uri, Sep 10, KNT: Former Minister Taj Mohiuddin has refuted National Conference leader Dr. Sajad Ahmed Uri’s claims that he visited Delhi to strike a deal with the BJP. Taj challenged Dr. Sajad to prove his allegations, stating he hasn’t visited Delhi in five months.
Taj announced plans to lodge an FIR against Dr. Sajad for lying to the media and to write to the Election Commission. He emphasized his independence in the election, acknowledging support from Apni Party chief Syed Altaf Bukhari.
Earlier, Dr. Sajad had accused Taj of being BJP’s proxy candidate, sparking the war of words. [KNT]
