BSF Trooper Injured in Accidental Firing During Patrolling in Baramulla

 

Baramulla, Jan 13, KNT: A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper was injured on Monday when his service rifle accidentally discharged during routine patrolling in Baramulla district of North Kashmir, officials reported.

The incident occurred in Old Town Baramulla, where Constable Manish Meghwal sustained a gunshot wound due to the accidental firing.

The injured constable was immediately transported to a hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable, officials added. [KNT]
