Soldier Posted in Srinagar Allegedly Dies by Suicide

 

Srinagar, Feb 11, KNT: A soldier posted at the Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar allegedly took his own life using his service rifle.

The deceased has been identified as Satyajeet Kandhol, a resident of Panipat, Haryana. He was serving with the 20 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) E Company at the time of the incident.

According to initial reports, the soldier shot himself while the reasons behind his extreme step remain unclear.
