Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 Awantipora Police Organises Pledge-Taking Ceremonies Across the Police District
Awantipora: As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, Awantipora Police organised pledge-taking ceremonies across all police establishments of Police District Awantipora to reaffirm its commitment to eradicating corruption and promoting integrity, transparency and accountability in public service.
At District Police Lines (DPL) Awantipora, the pledge-taking ceremony was led by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Awantipora, Shri Irshad H. Rather-JKPS, who administered the pledge to police officers and jawans.

Similar ceremonies were held across the police district, where respective supervisory officers administered the pledge to their subordinates.
During the ceremonies, officers and jawans solemnly pledged to discharge their duties with honesty, integrity and dedication, uphold the highest standards of transparency and accountability, and work collectively towards eliminating corruption in all its forms.
Through this initiative, Awantipora Police reiterated its commitment to ethical policing, good governance and strengthening public trust through honest and accountable service.
