Srinagar, June 23, KNT: The Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has revised the summer vacation schedule for all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir Division, advancing the break by nearly three weeks.
According to an official order issued by the department, the summer vacation will now be observed from June 24 to July 3, 2025, replacing the previously announced dates of July 15 to July 24, 2025.
“In partial modification of Government Order No. 261-JK (HE) of 2025 dated 30-05-2025, it is hereby ordered that the summer vacation in all the Government Degree Colleges of Kashmir Division shall be observed from June 24 to July 3 instead of July 15 to July 24,” the revised order reads.
College administrations across the Valley have been directed to adhere strictly to the revised timeline, and staff members have been advised to ensure all academic duties are completed ahead of the vacation period. [KNT]
