Srinagar, June 18, KNT: The Jammu and Kashmir government’s cabinet is set to convene this evening at 7 PM at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar, with several important policy issues likely to come up for discussion.

A cabinet minister confirmed to Kashmir News Trust that the meeting will focus on key governance matters, with possible deliberations on forest department issues, new tourism initiatives, and the much-anticipated reservation report.

Though the official agenda has not been made public, reliable sources suggest that the cabinet will take up proposals that have been pending review for the past few weeks. These include decisions that may have wide-ranging implications for administrative and developmental priorities in the Union Territory.

In view of the high-level meeting, senior bureaucrats and department heads have been directed to remain available, indicating the likelihood of major decisions or approvals during the session.
