“LG Manoj Sinha Is Our Neighbour, Hope He Will Share Business Rules Copy,” Says J&K Deputy CM Surinder Choudhary

Srinagar, June 24, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Srinder Choudhary on Monday expressed optimism about a smooth and cooperative transition of administrative authority between the elected government and the office of the Lieutenant Governor, stating that he expects LG Manoj Sinha to hand over a copy of the Jammu and Kashmir Government Business Rules in the coming days.

“LG Manoj Sinha is our neighbour in the Civil Secretariat. I’m sure he will extend his cooperation and hand over the Business Rules soon,” Choudhary told reporters, underscoring the importance of a collaborative approach during this critical transition from Union Territory administration to an elected government system.

The Business Rules, which govern the functioning of the Council of Ministers and allocate responsibilities among various departments, are vital for the smooth operation of the government. Without access to these rules, newly sworn-in ministers cannot formally begin their work or issue administrative directives.
