Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited the Nunwan Base Camp in Pahalgam to review arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra and assess the facilities in place for pilgrims.
During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with devotees, langar sevadars, service providers, and sanitation workers. He lauded their contribution and commitment towards ensuring a smooth and peaceful Yatra.
The LG chaired a high-level meeting with administrative and security officials to evaluate measures taken for the safe, hassle-free movement of pilgrims. He also inspected queue management systems and stressed the importance of coordination among all agencies to maintain efficiency and safety.

Accompanying the LG were Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the LG and CEO of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board; VK Birdi, IGP Kashmir; Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag; and senior officials from the District Administration, Police, SASB, and security forces.
