The attachment process was carried out in the presence of the Executive Magistrate First Class, BK Pora, and two independent witnesses, following all legal procedures. Approval for the action was granted by the competent authority—SAFEMA, New Delhi—and due legal notice was served before execution.

Officials said the owner is now prohibited from selling, leasing, or altering the attached property or creating any third-party interest as per law.

This action, police said, reflects the continuing determination of Jammu and Kashmir Police to eliminate drug-related activities and maintain a drug-free Srinagar. Authorities also appealed to the public to cooperate in efforts aimed at uprooting the drug menace from society. [KNT]
