Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Bukhari termed the recent blast in Delhi a serious incident that demands a firm response. He said those involved in planning or executing such acts must face strict legal action after proper investigation. During the briefing, Bukhari again highlighted the need for a broad assessment of why educated youth are gravitating toward radical paths. He said the phenomenon has become a worrying trend and requires intervention from educational institutions, community leaders and government departments to understand and address the underlying causes.
Bukhari said the issue must be treated as a collective concern and not as an isolated occurrence. He added that strengthening engagement with youth and addressing their concerns can help prevent such drift and maintain social stability. [KNT]
