Srinagar Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspect in Car Theft Case

 

Srinagar, Nov 2, KNT: Srinagar Police have sought public assistance to identify the person captured in CCTV footage in connection with the theft of an Alto car bearing registration number JK05K-4553.

The police said that upon receipt of a written complaint, a case under FIR No. 70/2025 was registered at Police Station Shalteng under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. During the investigation, footage was obtained that shows the suspect accused, whose image has now been released for identification.

Police have appealed to the public to share any information that could help in tracing the individual or recovering the stolen vehicle. People with credible inputs have been urged to contact Police Station Shalteng or PCR Srinagar. Authorities have assured that the identity of informants will be kept strictly confidential.
