Young Srinagar Girl Wins Hearts by Completing Half Marathon with CRPF Support
Srinagar, Nov 2, KNT: A nine-year-old girl from Srinagar’s Qamarwari area, Maham Khan, has become a symbol of determination and youthful grit after successfully completing a half marathon in the city. Her inspiring feat, achieved under the watchful guidance of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, has captured the admiration of locals and security officials alike.
Officials said that Maham participated in the marathon with extraordinary enthusiasm and endurance. Throughout the event, she was closely accompanied by senior CRPF officers, including DIG Sudhir Kumar and a lady Commandant, who ensured her safety and boosted her morale along the route. Their encouragement, witnesses said, kept the young runner motivated till the very end.
The young athlete’s spirited performance drew praise from the CRPF and members of the public present at the event. “Maham displayed discipline and strength well beyond her age. She truly embodies the spirit of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth,” an officer remarked.
