Selection Grade Granted to Seven Private Secretaries in J&K

 

Srinagar, Dec 13, KNT: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has accorded sanction for the grant of Selection Grade (Non-functional) in Level 10A (₹56,600–1,79,800) to seven members of the Jammu and Kashmir Private Secretaries to Heads of Departments (Gazetted) Service.

According to Government Order No. 1893-JK(GAD) of 2025, dated December 12, 2025, the benefit has been approved in favour of Lakshman Kumar Sharma, Sheikh Mohammad Latief, Hamid Ahmad Tramboo, Rajesh Kumar, Soma Kumar, Anjali Raina, and Sanjay Kumar, with effect from the dates specified against each officer.

As per the order, Lakshman Kumar Sharma has been granted the Selection Grade with effect from April 23, 2024, while Sheikh Mohammad Latief has been accorded the grade from October 11, 2024, up to his retirement on April 30, 2025. Hamid Ahmad Tramboo has been granted the benefit from November 21, 2024. Rajesh Kumar and Soma Kumar have been accorded the Selection Grade with effect from March 17, 2025. Anjali Raina has been granted the grade from May 1, 2025, while Sanjay Kumar will receive the benefit with effect from August 14, 2025.

The order states that the sanction shall remain subject to the outcome of any writ petition pending consideration before courts of competent jurisdiction.

The order has been issued by the General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat, and copies have been circulated to the concerned administrative secretaries, departments, and offices for implementation.  [KNT]
