IPS Officers Divya D and Ragav S Transferred From J&K to Puducherry


Srinagar, Jan 24, KNT: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday ordered the transfer of two Indian Police Service officers of the AGMUT cadre from Jammu and Kashmir to Puducherry with immediate effect.

According to an official order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ms Divya D, IPS, and Ragav S, IPS, both of the 2018 AGMUT batch, have been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Puducherry. The order states that the postings have been approved by the competent authority and will remain effective until further orders.

The transfer directive was issued from Kartavya Bhavan-3, New Delhi, and has been communicated to the officers concerned through the Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir. Copies of the order have also been forwarded to the Chief Secretaries of multiple states and Union Territories for information and necessary action.

The order has been signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India, and has been placed on the Ministry’s website under the AGMUT Cadre Management section dealing with transfers and postings. [KNT]
