

Srinagar, April 15, KNT: Elvania Energies 369 Pvt Ltd has launched its electric vehicle and renewable energy operations in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, marking its entry into the region with a business model aimed at promoting clean mobility and local entrepreneurship.
The company hosted a launch event in Srinagar bringing together government representatives, industry participants, and local stakeholders, where it outlined plans to expand electric mobility solutions and create employment opportunities.
The initiative centers on a Hyper Local Micro Dealership (HLMD) model, which the company said is designed to enable individuals to start EV-related businesses with an entry investment of ₹6 lakh.
Chief Guest Azeeta Qureshi said the introduction of electric vehicles and renewable energy solutions represents a “progressive step towards a greener Jammu & Kashmir,” adding that such initiatives can support environmental goals and provide opportunities for youth.

Trade union leader Farooq Dar said the dealership model could generate grassroots business opportunities and support economic inclusion.
Founder Aarif Shafi Khanyari said the company aims to expand access to clean and affordable mobility solutions while enabling individuals to become entrepreneurs.
“Elvania Energies was born with a mission to bring clean, affordable, and innovative mobility solutions to every corner of India,” he said, adding that the company’s rollout in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh is intended to generate employment and support regional economic growth.
He said the model is positioned as both a business opportunity and a broader push towards sustainability and self-reliance.
The company said it will focus on scaling electric mobility adoption alongside renewable energy solutions as part of its long-term expansion strategy. [KNT]
